WINDSOR, Ont. - A police officer in Windsor, Ont., has been put on administrative duties after he had an intimate conversation over the police scanner.

Windsor police began an investigation after the audio of the conversation was posted on YouTube. Staff Sgt. Ed McNorton says the officer was identified and has been reassigned to administrative duties, and the professional standards branch is investigating.

McNorton says investigators will probe the officer's conduct and determine if he misused police equipment.

He says the woman on the other end of the conversation is not a police officer.

The YouTube posting was titled "Windsor Police Booty Call," but appears to have since been removed.
